Welcome everyone to the Stormforge Hobbies and Games in store Blood Bowl League: Winter Season!

The Rules
We will be using all the rules and options from the Blood Bowl rule book and Death Zone season 1. We will not be using the optional rules from Death Zone season 2 this time (the spring league however will be a different story).-Team Selection
- Teams may be selected from the Blood Bowl Rulebook, Death Zone seasons 1 & 2 and the Teams of Legend PDF (available to download here).
- You have 1,000,000gp for your starting team roster.
- You may not hire star players into your roster.
- You must bring your up to date team roster with you to each match.
- All team members must be numbered. This can either be on the model or on the rim of its base.
- Conversions and proxies are allowed within reason. Example: using a fantasy model with a flail as a goblin fanatic is acceptable. Using a skaven team with plague monks as Nurgle Rotters is acceptable. Using a goblin fanatic as a human lineman is NOT acceptable. If in doubt, get in touch with us.
-Playing Matches
- The league kicks off on the 4/11/17 and ends on the 20/01/18 (11 weeks).
- You can play a maximum of 8 league matches within that time.
- All matches must be played in Stormforge Hobbies and Games.
- A win will earn you 3 points, a draw 2 points, and a loss 1 point. You are welcome to play the same opponent more than once, however for each subsequent match against a team you have already played in the league your points will be reduced to 2 for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss.
- All inducements are allowed, including the hiring of star players.
- If you want an easy way to organise matches, be sure to join and post in the Stormforge Gaming Group on facebook.
-Shiny Prizes
- The top 4 players in the league will be invited back to the play offs. The winner of the final will receive the Stormforge League Trophy. Other awards to be announced during the season.
- There will be a raffle at the end of the league for Stormforge Hobbies and Games vouchers. You can earn raffle tickets in the league for the following:
- Placing top 4 in the league: 1 Ticket
- Best painted team: 2 Tickets
- Fully painted team at the end of the league: 1 Ticket
- Playing all 8 of your league games: 1 Ticket
- Team which causes the most casualties: 1 Ticket
- Team which scores the most touchdowns: 1 Ticket
- Team containing the player with the most SPP at the end of the league: 1 Ticket
- Star Player of the league (at the end of the match coaches vote for the player on the opposing team who they think was the most impressive/horrifying to go against, the player with most votes is declared the league Star Player): 1 Ticket
